Jenny has lived in Gospel Oak for 10 years and became a ward councillor in 2017. She loves getting to know different Gospel Oak community groups and being involved in projects which bring people together – from litter picks to coffee mornings, to setting up new Play Streets. She became a Carlton Primary School governor to support the school and its families during the merger with Rhyl. Wanting to increase her local impact in the light of government funding cuts, she recently left her job at a Kentish Town software company to become a freelance grant fundraiser for small charities in Camden.
