Nadia has been a councillor since 2014, was born in Camden and attended local schools. Currently serving on the cabinet as lead for Safer communities, she manages her own businesses but has worked in the charity, government and private sector. Nadia is a trustee of various organisations and served on school governing boards. Nadia was the first-ever Female British Bangladeshi Mayor and used her time to support child and adolescent mental health and child poverty. Nadia has a track record of breaking down barriers for people to access adequate services to enrich and better lives.
