Camron Aref-Adib is Camden born and bred, with the Council helping house his parents and older sisters in Highgate when they arrived as refugees from Iran in the mid-1980s. He takes pride in giving back to the area that gave his family sanctuary, serving as a councillor in Highgate since 2022 and volunteering at Highgate Library for over 5 years. Camron is an experienced economist, and as Camden’s Cabinet Member for Finance and Cost of Living, has steered the Council through challenging financial circumstances, targeting money to support those most in need and protect public services.
