Lotis is an educator who was born and raised in and around Camden. She has always been passionate about addressing inequality and has worked in the education and charity sector for most of her working life. After starting her career as a secondary school English teacher, she has supported adults from non-traditional backgrounds to go to university as the Access Coordinator at City Lit, and helped working-class university students to access elite careers as a social entrepreneur. She is currently a trustee for VAC and has served as a Primary School governor and Mutual Aid coordinator.
