Nasrine was born and raised in Camden. She holds a BA (Hons) degree from Queen Mary and a MA from SOAS. From as young as 12, Nasrine has been involved in supporting and enabling community resilience, starting with her immediate community impacted by the HS2 project. Channelling her lived experience, she went on to work in the local authority to continue championing the needs of HS2 impacted communities and offering support. This included voicing residents’ concerns at a full council meeting and presenting to the CEO and senior directors at an HS2 conference to address its impact on residents.
