Sylvia has lived in Kentish Town for five years since returning to London after 30 years of living and working in Leicester. She is particularly passionate about education, having recently retired from a career in local government as Director of Education in Croydon and Birmingham. Sylvia will work closely to support Eleanor Palmer and Acland Burghley schools to ensure every child has equal access to educational opportunities. Her experience in taking up housing issues also drives her to support the council in providing affordable housing.
